Garden Wildlife

...bringing nature closer to home
This first release of our website does not provide guides to the creatures found in gardens.  There are two reasons why we have not put this as a top priority. Garden Wildlife is an enormous topic, and even in summary or outline form, will require up to 60 more web pages.  Secondly, garden wildlife is reasonably well covered - for the more popular groups in particular - by websites maintained by our partner organisations.  Even when this section is complete, we will not need to have major sections on birds and butterflies for example.

There is a lot of information on garden wildlife in general on the RHS/Wildlife Trust website Wild about Gardens.  You can also find a list of useful books and leaflets on garden wildlife through our Finding out More page.
